THIS IS THE FIRST ORIGINAL FIGURE
OF IT'S KIND THAT I HAVE MADE LIKE THIS. A SEXY, YET STRONGER TYPE FEMALE CHARACTER, WHO TAKES NO CRAP FROM ANYONE. IN THE
VEIN OF LARA CROFT OR EVEN LIKE SARAH CONNOR FROM TERMINATOR.
To make her, I used a GI Joe Female helicopter pilot body for the upper
half, and for the more muscular type legs, I used a Barbie Ken doll, (Don't worry, I built up her butt and lost
certain "bulgy areas"...she's ALL GIRL!) as his all too feminine looking bendy legs, were just muscular enough
to look like a strong girl's.

As for the story, this
is the lead character in an evolving story about a modern ex-marine, who becomes a for hire mercenary, searching
for an ancient secret buried deep within modern desert warfare locales.
It is a fantasy story, with cute sidekicks, evil, sexy villains, and lots
of action.

For the Major's look,
I used the Helicopter pilot headsculpt, which was quite pretty to me, and painted her a bit like both actress Peta Wilson,
of La Femme Nikita TV show fame, and Cameron Diaz, who is also a favorite.
The real challenge was making her look as good as I could, while not using
any makeup painting techniques to pretty her up.

COUNTESS ELSA VON UBEL Granddaughter
of a World War II German General... And villain extrordinare to Major B.A.B.E.

MILLA JOVOVICH
as
LEELOO
from the movie
The FIFTH ELEMENT

| Click on this pic for closer view |
I made this figure using a posable, rubber Jakks Pacific body and
a nice resin sculpted head for Milla that was originally designed for the Alice character from Resident Evil I believe.
However, I liked the hair and expression worked for Leeloo, so I came
up with this combo.
The face seems to have no makeup and, as she was blond, or orange haired,
so her eyebrows and other features are muted, and I liked that look a lot.
Plus, this is the skimpy costume she had on at the very beginning of
the movie, where she was genetically re-engineered and "cloted" in what looked like bandages. I used surgical bands for this
and cut, glued and painted each segment into place so it would stay put.
Not the worst task I have undergone making a figure I can assure you.

This limited edition figure was featured in TOYFARE Magazine's Made
to Order, on page 105, in the January 2007 issue!

SPIDER-WOMAN
1/6 Scale Original Sculpture

|
This sculpture really belongs in Commissions, as it is a one of
a kind done for a local area person, but since I wanted to "fill out" my Female Figure page a bit...
...she's here instead.
This is my take on Marvel Comic's superhero, Spider-woman.
