Repainted
This is a basic repaint of the Sideshow Nosferatu
figure.
Plus, I switched out the clothing from the
Silver Screen Edition to the regular color edition, since I never liked the notion that he ever wore anything other than dark
grey and black.
I feel this is one of the most successful
figures that Sideshow Toys has ever produced. Simple, clean, effective. And, a superb headsculpt.

The vampire villain from Full Moon Picture's
SUBSPECIES movie series, performed to perfection
by the incomparable Danish actor Anders Hove (Pronounced Ah-nuss Ho-vay).
This custom is actually my second of this evil
if somewhat entertaining character. I made a 12" custom of him nearly ten years ago, back before I knew how to make a posable
and more accurate figure.
This time I made sure he was taller with a Sideshow
figure body and had as accurate a wardrobe as I could muster based on the first movie, with a nod to Subspecies II &
III's makeup and hair.
Plus, I added small decorative details like his
collar pins and accurate boots and much more.
I added the Bloodstone he's holding from the smaller
7" toy that I always thought was a bit big for that figure. Also, I sculpted the long Nosferatu-like fingers made complete
with long fingernails made of clear, tinted plastic.
I hope that this time I finally have my ultimate
Radu.
